An alternative to the banana and cinnamon smoothie, packed with nutrients in an easy to make way.
Ingredients
1 heaped tsp sesame seed paste.(tahini) (optional)
1 heaped tsp ground almonds.
1 small avocado peeled and stoned
100grms/4oz blueberries or 1 portion of another fruit
100mls/4oz apple cored and chopped or another portion of another fruit
125mls rice milk or oatley milk or almond milk.
1 tsp runny honey or agave syrup
2 tsps ground flax seeds
2 tblsps omega 3 rich oil (ex. flax, hemp or walnut oil)
1 scoop pure whey protein powder or pea powder or hemp protein powder (from any health foods shop)
Method
Liquidize all together.
This will keep in the fridge for 24 hours to sip at during the day.
Note that the blueberries and apple can be exchanged for any other fruits i.e. pear and banana or melon and raspberries. Etc. note; Pineapple and mango aid digestion.
Approx 388 cals per 200mls.
